Second City to Produce "Is This Seat Taken?"
Michael Leathers was one of six writers whose 10-minute scripts were featured at a comedy workshop co-sponsored by Chicago Dramatists and The Second City Training Center in May.

His script, "Is This Seat Taken?", is about a young couple visiting a church for the first time. They choose two seats that another couple, who are longtime members of the church, have always sat in. The church members concoct several maneuvers to make the young visitors shift their seats so they can have "their" seats back.

Leathers' script and the five others will be produced this summer at The Second City's Donny's Skybox Studio Theatre with Second City actors and directors.
